You will be helping St Louis’ much respected clients live a better-quality life, assisting with daily living activities including all aspects of personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and social activities with a focus on keeping clients as involved as possible whilst living in their own homes. **About You**: As a Community Care Worker you will demonstrate a genuine commitment to the care of others and appreciate the role of older people in society. You will have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and have a willingness to adhere to established care plans, as well as St Louis’ Policies and Procedures. Our selection criteria is based on character, qualifications, and competence. - Covid-19 Vaccination (Essential) - A polite manner and a passion for service to older members of the community - Certificate 3 in Individual Support - Reliability and flexibility to work - A strong command of English - Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - Proven ability to work autonomously - Commitment to further undertake in-house education and training - National Police Clearance (No more then 3 years old) - Full driver's license - Roadworthy & comprehensively insured vehicle - Willingness to travel across the Victor Harbor, Port Elliot area, as required, to meet client needs If you’re excited by the opportunity, we’d love to meet you.
