**Job Description**:
We are looking to appoint an experienced and driven professional to the position of Business Intelligence, Data Systems and Integration Manager at Minor Hotels for Australia and New Zealand.

This newly created position will see you collaborating closely with multiple departments, comprehending their unique data requirements and converting them to effective data solutions.

You will be responsible for seamlessly integrating data systems, crafting exceptional data solutions. Working alongside the Data Governance Council and Operational teams, you will continuously strive to enhance data quality, driving a culture of excellence throughout the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Review existing infrastructure and provide recommendations on future structure and direction of the Data Department
- Ensure alignment with the Minor Hotels global data strategy manage the ANZ data systems development
- Manage data strategy for the company to enable data-driven decision making for all corporate functions
- Manage data systems setup, daily management, and training to all stakeholders
- In consultation with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrity, security and availability of data warehouse and reporting solutions
- Design, develop and maintain data integration pipelines to connect disparate data systems
- Drive innovation with development of real-time and advanced analytic solutions to enable better customer retention and EBITDA growth
- Provide data and assist in ad hoc analysis of various datasets to solve data problems.

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role you will require the following**:

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience as Lead/ Principal Data Engineer or Architect and Business Intelligence role
- Strong experience in analysing data problems as well as designing and implementing sustainable data solutions
- Extensive experience with data migration, modelling, ETL development and performance tuning
- Previous experience creating conceptual process and data flow diagrams
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and Real-time analytics will be highly regarded
- Solid understanding of data governance requirements
- Systems knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Azure/AWS Cloud and Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, SSRS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain excellent stakeholder relationships
