You will be play a vital role in the operational management of the Blue Mountains and Springwood Hospitals after-hours, working collaboratively to maintain the efficient and effective management of resources and staff.

What You Will Bring To The Role
Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Relevant tertiary qualification in management and/or extensive post-graduate clinical and management experience in the acute health care setting.
Leadership and interpersonal skills demonstrating motivation, delegation, negotiation and knowledge with clinical experience of evidence based acute health assessment, treatment and care.
Proven ability to provide leadership, manage resources and drive change effectively with a demonstrated commitment to professional development
Computer literacy including working knowledge of staff scheduling systems HealthRoster
Understanding of and commitment to ETP, bed management/patient flow objectives in an acute health setting, with the ability to resolve complex problems in a timely manner and demonstrate knowledge and skills in the use of information technology systems to support bed management and Patient Flow
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage complex, competing and challenging situations, including clinical and corporate risk in a timely manner
High level verbal and written communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to act as a change agent and lead organisational change in patient care, with knowledge of current nursing practice at a local, national and international level.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
