**Jupiter Health & Medical Services is currently seeking a experienced reception to join our team. Our practice is quiet busy so the applicant must have atleast 2 year experience in similar role is a must.**:

- **Looking for Night Shift (5pm -11pm/ 12pm and Weekend Staff**

**About the role**

As a Medical receptionist you will be the first point of contact for the patients and need to create a professional welcoming environment keeping in mind patient confidentiality.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Answering & Directing phones call appropriately / Dealing with telephone enquiries from other health care providers
- Front of house reception / Greeting patients upon arrival
- Processing patient accounts/ Managing patient invoicing and receipting too third party suppliers
- Use of Best Practice medical software
- Schedule patient appointments
- Ability to take direction and ask questions when required
- Provide quality care and service to patients
- Ensuring confidentiality and management of patients' needs
- Prioritizing workload - able to work under pressure
- Ability to work to a flexible roster including nights and Saturdays
- A team player
- Immaculate presentation
- Punctuality & reliability
- Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Managing the waiting room
- Rostering
- Chasing up outstanding accounts
- Use of HICAPS
- Knowledge in medicare billing and schedules

**Skills and experience**

The successful applicant must possess the following attributes:

- Minimum 12 months' expertise in General Practice is a must.
- The ability to operate effectively in an environment of a high and varied workload, demonstrating judgement and advanced skills in the delivery of administrative services
- Excellent computer skills.
- Exceptional customer service focus.
- A warm, collaborative, can-do attitude
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Previous experience working in Medical Practice are essential
- Knowledge of Best Practice software preferred
- A professional, patient and courteous manner
- Excellent articulation and telephone manner
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong multitasking capabilities
