Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Assistant Campus Manager.

**Position Overview**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- In collaboration with the Campus Manager, supervise and coordinate trades personnel and contractors engaged in the daily operation of the campus.
- Carry out regular maintenance and security inspections and through consultation with the Campus Manager, engage service contractors to undertake works.
- Monitor, review, and action requests for Facilities services including engaging contractors to undertake such services.
- Unlock and lock all buildings and gates across the campus along with ensuring the security alarm system is disarmed and armed in support of facility access.
- Control and issue keys as well as arrange for restricted key cutting and maintain appropriate records.
- Proactively monitor and contribute to addressing facilities issues (both internal and external) to reduce the risk of injury to students, staff and the general community accessing CIT facilities.
- Participate in and proactively contribute to a range of network groups and committees such as sustainability programs, work health and safety forums, fire warden activities and team meetings.
- Contribute as a Fire Warden and assist the Campus Manager in the coordination and control of fire protection and prevention program/initiatives and assist with the preparation of appropriate emergency procedures and emergency exercises as required.
- Contribute to building team capability to support current and future skills needs.
- Ensure all interactions are consistent with the CIT cultural traits (Customer Centric, Professionalism, Collaborative, Trusted, Adaptable, Accountable, and Inspirational).
- Model the ACT Public Service values and signature behaviours.
- Foster an environment that values and utilises the contribution of others.
- While this position is predominately based at the CIT Bruce campus, undertaking these duties at any other CIT campus may be required.
