**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Provide specialist knowledge and lead the implementation of the HHS wide National Standards program in relation to 'Partnering with Consumers' Standard and other relevant standards.
- Lead and support a culture of safety by encompassing a just culture, being accountable and encourage collaboration across directorates / facilities and disciplines to implement and embed the National Standards
- Lead and coordinate education activities to build expertise and capability within the workforce in relation to consumer engagement.
- Lead the review and enhancement of systems and processes that enable active and informed consumer participation in care, the effective communication of planned care and the evaluation of care outcomes.
