You will guide and support staff development, cultivate a culture of ongoing learning, and oversee professional growth initiatives statewide.This is your opportunity to shape how victims of crime are supported — influencing both internal practice and external stakeholder engagement across Queensland's justice system.
In this role, you will:Mentor and support staff through reflective practice, coaching, and expert guidanceLead best practice initiatives and support complex, high-risk case managementDeliver training and drive continuous capability-building within the teamCollaborate with stakeholders to enhance engagement, particularly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and culturally diverse groupsProvide strategic input into victim-related policies, service improvements, and legislative requirementsWhat We're Looking ForOur ideal candidate will demonstrate:Experience in complex case management, especially in victim services or the criminal justice systemProven ability to lead, coach and develop teamsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence and foster inclusive practiceA commitment to trauma-informed and culturally safe service deliveryRelevant qualifications in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work or Human Services (postgrad qualifications in coaching/supervision highly regarded)Why Join Us?
