Flyash have an opportunity for a Leading Hand to join our team in Eraring. Reporting to the Projects & Preventative Maintenance Manager (PPMM) your duties and responsibilities will include overseeing the provision of preventative, breakdown and annual shutdown maintenance and fitting services to all Flyash Depots and to assist in the successful completion of capital projects.
This is a Monday to Friday role, working from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with occasional overtime and callouts required.
Responsibilities
Day to day supervision of the maintenance team
Assisting the PPMM with daily paperwork – Daily Diaries, QA requirements
Overseeing the operation of Plant and Equipment as required
Complying with FAA's Policies & Procedures
Maintaining the MEX maintenance programme
Assisting the PPMM to deliver on time tasks and meet quality and budget targets
The position is located at FAA Eraring Depot (Eraring Power Station)
Skills & Experience
Qualified Boilermaker or Fitter with a minimum of 5 years' experience (Fitter applicants must have welding experience)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
Provide support to the PPMM by leading the maintenance team
Experience in reporting and policy monitoring
Construction white card and relevant machine tickets
Proficient in the use of MEX or similar maintenance systems
Willing to provide training for the right candidate
