A family-owned business founded in 1958, they are one of Australia's leading companies in providing unique and high-end bathroom and kitchen designs and products. Their products can be seen in many luxury commercial establishments as well as in residential homes.

Due to business growth, they are seeking to employ an experienced and hands-on **Warehouse Team Leader** who can help a small group of members in their Pinkenba warehouse.

Your primary focus will be on leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all aspects of the warehouse's functions. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Additionally, you will be tasked with fostering a positive and productive work environment while enforcing company policies and procedures.

**About the Role**:

- Monday - Friday
- 10 am - 6:06 pm
- AUD 70, 000 + Super

**Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**
- To mentor and direct the store people in all aspects of warehousing.
- Communication with the Dispatch Co-Ordinator on issues and delays.
- Managing the day-to-day activities of your team.
- All outbound loads to be organized and staged for efficient turnaround time of outbound trucks.
- Ensure full traceability of all stored materials/items
- Forklift operation (as required)
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Report damage or property damage immediately

**Required Skills**:

- Previous experience managing/directing a small team desired
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to deal with HR issues - not afraid of facing conflict head on
- A good understanding of warehouse and distribution functions, including shipment receipts, stocktakes and dispatch
- High-reach experience essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound time management and organisational skills
- Foster an environment and culture where safety is a leading value and critical in all activities
- A "continual improvement" mindset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
