With rooms and venues full of design-led details, and divine dining at Capitol Bar & Grill, there are countless areas to explore and connections to make.- About the role- QT Canberra is seeking a casual superstar kitchen steward to join our kitchen team, working across our signature restaurant Capitol Bar & Grill as well as our Conferencing & Events kitchens. This is an opportunity to work in an expansive and well-equipped kitchen, focused around our wood fired grill.- Key Responsibilities.- Ensure that QT Canberra produces a high-quality food product at all times.
- Monitor all food storage facilities to ensure that proper storage techniques are being used and that the cleanliness standards are being maintained.
- Requisition the appropriate amount of food product in accordance with the established policies and procedures.
- Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team.
- Comply with all of the established operational policies & procedures.
