Job Overview: As a diesel engine technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and inspecting engine components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and engine tune-ups

  • Inspect engine components, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other parts for wear or damage
  • Replace defective parts and reassemble components with precision
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare detailed reports or issue roadworthy certificates

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals accurately
  • Licensing: An HR/HC licence is desirable but not mandatory
