**The Role**

As a **Merchandiser** you'll be instrumental in the success of our brand by strategically managing your category's product assortment; ensuring alignment with our brand vision, creative direction, market trends and community preferences. You will collaborate closely with the Design and Development and Creative Direction team to create merchandising strategies, optimise product assortment, and maximise sales and profitability. You understand how you contribute to meeting the LSKD target strategy and "Go-to-market" calendar.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Follow the LSKD operating principles including Design and Production, and 1% Better
- Be the Hungry, Humble Smart; and lead the brand with integrity.
- Execute LSKD's merchandising strategies to drive sales, margin, and inventory turnover.
- Analyse market trends, community insights, and sales data to identify opportunities for product assortment optimisation.
- Collaborate with creative direction, design, product development, and sourcing teams to curate a compelling product assortment whilst understanding our vision and community needs.
- Evaluate product performance and make data-driven decisions on assortment selection and product lifecycle management.
- Participate in seasonal line planning and assortment building processes, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, market trends, and financial objectives.
- Develop assortment plans, SKU targets, and product segmentation strategies to support sales and margin goals.
- Monitor stock levels, sell-through rates, and replenishment needs to ensure product availability and maximise sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with pricing and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies and promotional plans that drive traffic, conversion, and revenue.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market dynamics to inform pricing decisions and promotional tactics.
- Partner with retail and e-commerce teams to develop visual merchandising strategies that enhance the presentation and visibility of products across channels.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and storytelling through merchandising displays and product presentations.
- Analyse sales performance, sell-through rates, and key performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams to optimise merchandising strategies and drive business results and within budget.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

**Essential Skills / Experience**
- Demonstrated experience in this field with ideas of how a progressive merchandise team could continue to challenge the norm
- Holds a strong passion for and understanding of the LSKD community, brand mission and values
- Actively identifies new areas for learning and needs to stay up to date and leading edge in area of expertise
- Strong communicator and clearly conveys information and ideas in a focused, appropriate and effective manner
