**_This position can be offered on a permanent full -time basis (35 hours/ week) or a permanent part-time basis working the following: _**
- **_3 days/ week at our Sydney Centre _**:

- **_2 days/ week supporting other Centres across Sydney _**:

- **_Flexible WFH arrangements after initial 6 months in the role _**

Uniting has a long history of high-quality service delivery, being well regarded, and connected with family law stakeholders. As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), you'll provide FDR to families' post-separation who are experiencing various levels of conflict and are unable to reach agreements about children or property. Online video appointments, legally-assisted mediation and child inclusive practice are examples of Uniting's innovative FDR practices. You will be working with a dynamic team of FDRPs and therapists to support families holistically.

**About You**
- **Accredited by the Australian Attorney-General's Department (AGD) as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, or eligible for accreditation. Applicants who are unsure of eligibility should contact the AGD Practitioner Accreditation Unit. Uniting will require evidence of eligibility.**:

- **Tertiary qualifications in law, psychology or social work.**:

- An understanding of the process and purpose of child inclusive mediation practice.
- Knowledge of family law legislation.
- Knowledge and understanding of community services, especially those relating to families experiencing relationship difficulties.
- Understanding of child protection issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as be able to contribute to the functioning of the team.
- Excellent communication, organisation and writing skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Meet the program-specific client targets.
