Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. In this role, you will provide senior management and leadership in the provision of Family Law Dispute Resolution services.

">

You will be responsible for directly providing FDR services, including conducting legally aided FDR mediations in complex family law matters. This includes property and care and protection at various locations.

">

Our team locates at our Central Sydney office with flexible working arrangement options available. If you are passionate about social justice and family law, and have experience in leading, mentoring, and handling complex mediation cases, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Providing senior management and leadership in the provision of Family Law Dispute Resolution services">
  3. Conducting legally aided FDR mediations in complex family law matters">
  4. Leading and mentoring a small team of administrative staff">
  5. Contributing to various projects and policy decisions within the unit">
  6. Providing clinical supervision to FDRPs">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Admission or eligibility for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW">
  • A current NSW Practising Certificate">
  • Willingness to do a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check">
  • Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency, or a valid visa to work in Australia">
  • A valid Driver Licence and/or the capacity to travel regularly, and to regional and remote areas">
  • Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner">
