A&G Fabrications currently have a vacancy for a Factory Manager at our Commercial Aluminium Manufacturing Factory in Acacia Ridge. We specialise in the design, manufacture & installation of Aluminium Windows, Doors & Aluminium Sunscreens, Louvres & Perforated Screens.

This **hands-on position **will have overall responsibility for the day to day operations of the factory. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Efficiently managing the daily activities and tasks of manufacturing staff, ensuring the required resources are available
- Reviewing manufacturing schedules
- Allocation of PPE to manufacturing staff
- Ensuring all manufacturing staff are adequately trained, competent and hold the appropriate licenses where required
- Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process
- Ensuring OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to within the manufacturing area
- Building & maintaining a good rapport with all stakeholders
- Adhoc duties as required

The applicant **must have experience in a supervisory role **in an aluminium manufacturing facility, be able to read and understand detailed works orders. Must possess working knowledge of manufacturing processes and have a good understanding of construction techniques.

- **Experience in glazing & welding**

Highly regarded:

- Forklift ticket
- MR Licence
- Experience using AWS systems

Remuneration dependant on skills & experience

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Fabricating: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
- Constructions White Card (preferred)
