Job Opportunity: Diesel Fitter

Are you a skilled diesel fitter looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity?

We are seeking experienced diesel fitters to join our team at our off-site rebuild facility in Mt Thorley. As a diesel fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and overhauls on heavy earth moving equipment. Your tasks may include:

- Assisting with machine overhauls and component change outs
- Performing general repairs and servicing
- Ensuring equipment is mine-site and MDG15 compliant

The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining heavy earth moving equipment such as Caterpillar off-highway trucks and tracked equipment. You will also need to have a relevant trade certificate, Class 'C' driver's license, post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, and strong self-motivation and work ethic.

Requirements:

- Relevant Trade Certificate (Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar)
- Class 'C' Drivers licence
- Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry
- Experience in general maintenance, diagnosis, component changed outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment
- Self motivation and a strong work ethic
