We are seeking an experienced cafe manager who intimately understands the clients and coffee. Full time hours are available and for the right applicant, an opportunity awaits. Our team is an established one; we value our staff just as much as our loyal customers.

Summary of Position:
Organize and control the operations of the restaurant to ensure a fine dining experience for our patrons. Duties in brief, include:

- Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
- Planning and organising special functions
- Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
- Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
- May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
- Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant;
- Analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability;
- Organise marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes;
- Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales;
- Create and execute plans for department sales, profit and staff development;
To be successful in the role you will have:

- Appropriate qualifications such as AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) at a minimum, or
- A minimum of at least 3-year formal experience within a formal restaurant setting
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Food Hygiene and OH&S Standards
- A professional presentation and approach
- A passion for food and specifically the Pub cuisine
- Ability to work closely with management to ensure the consistent high-quality services provided
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and good communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure
- Be available to workdays, nights and weekends and have your own reliable transport.
- An ability and desire to work morning, late evening and weekend shifts
- Innovative and organised

Pay: $74,000.00 per year
