Anglicare Sydney is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to join our Residential Care team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our organization has the processes, systems, skills, and knowledge to comply with relevant laws, regulations, and requirements. Beyond compliance, you will help maintain and enhance quality outcomes, contributing to the ongoing review, development, and delivery of our Quality Framework.
Key Responsibilities:

- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant laws and regulations, maintaining high-quality outcomes beyond compliance requirements.
- Quality Framework Management: Oversee the development and implementation of the Quality Framework, including auditing, inspecting compliance, and providing necessary training and remedial actions.
- Resident Care: Ensure all residents are treated with empathy and dignity, providing them with choices that enhance their wellbeing.
- Policy and Procedure Management: Review and update policies and procedures to reflect current requirements and evidence-based practices.
- Audit and Benchmarking: Conduct audits and respond to internal and external benchmarking results to address non-compliance and improve care outcomes.
- Reporting and Risk Management: Implement a rigorous reporting system to inform operational decisions and manage safety and risk effectively.
- Leadership: Provide professional and capable leadership aligned with Anglicare's Christian vision, mission, values, and strategy. Develop and support staff, ensuring a positive and effective team environment.

- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the prevention and management of non-compliance and support the ongoing review and development of internal standards and care outcome targets.
-Education and Experience:

- Relevant professional health-related and quality-related qualifications.
- Previous experience as a Care Manager in aged care (essential).
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements for Residential Care facilities.
- Experience in auditing and assessing standards and outcomes for accreditation of aged care facilities in NSW.
