Our thriving warehouses (we have 5 in total) are seeking Forklift Operators, to play a pivotal role in the smooth-running of our warehouse operations. The Forklift Operators roles will be on a casual basis, with the view to become permanent. The warehouses are located in Brooklyn, Derrimut and Truganina.

You need your own transport to get to this warehouse.

**Your Role**:

- Loading and unloading of Linehaul trailers, local vehicles, and inbound containers
- Loading a range of general oversized products and freight
- Inbound receiving and outbound dispatching
- Moving pallets around the warehouse
- Meeting loading and unloading deadlines whilst maintaining safety and zero damages
- Manual handling
- Order picking if required
- Assisting with the other warehouse duties as needed
- Working with the warehouse team to ensure accuracy and high standards of service are always maintained while complying with our OH&S policies
- Be available to work every weekday (Monday to Friday) through our peak period from late October to December 2024, with shifts scheduled based on operational needs. **There may also be opportunities for ongoing work beyond the peak season.**

**To be successful, you must have**:

- Physically fit to handle repetitive heavy lifting up to 25kg
- Experiences in warehouse practice - we do not have cold storage or hazardous materials but we do need reach experience
- Be motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work as part of a team environment
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a commitment to safe work practices
- Be available to work the afternoon shift from 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.

**Equipment**:
Steel capped shoes, we provide the forklift

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $36.98 - $38.46 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
