Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced forklift operator to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an ongoing casual opportunity ideal for those who value consistency with the flexibility of casual employment. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a friendly team to achieve high productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate high reach forklifts within a cold room environment
  • Efficiently load and unload goods into refrigerated trucks
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform stock inspections
  • High reach operation of up to 7/8 bays high
  • Manual lifting of up to 15kg repetitively
  • Use of RF Scanners
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and high productivity
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift License (with proven high reach operating experience)
  • Previous operation of Toyota forklifts highly advantageous
  • Ability to work in a cold room environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Have a strong work ethic and drive to reach targets
  • Commitment to safety and quality work practices
  • Must be confident and prepared to pass an on-site forklift test
