Job Description
The primary role of a Designated Trading Representative (DTR) is to deliver consistent high-quality trading execution and to manage order flow for our institutional equities client base.
Key Performance Outcomes
Consistent, timely, high quality equities trading execution
Management of internal counterparties to co-ordinate flow and ensure best execution outcomes
Diligent order creation and being mindful of regulatory data requirements
Ongoing communication and engagement with sales trading, research sales, research analysts
Ongoing provision of market trading insights to the equity sales desk to manage client expectations and aid in additional order generation
Some direct client engagement regarding executions/reportings and provision of trading and market insights
Ongoing market analysis for stock ideas and to identify trading and liquidity opportunities
Ensure compliance with ASX operating rules & regulations and completion of internal training obligations
Ongoing involvement in process improvement and system developments

Previous Experience
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
Middle/front office equities exposure preferred
DTR accreditation – ideally with a minimum of 1-2 years experience
