In this role, you will:
Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll operations across Australia and New Zealand with accuracy and compliance
Lead, mentor and support our Payroll Officers, helping them grow and succeed
Manage payroll month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and audit requirements
Drive process improvements and help shape future payroll systems and efficiencies
Provide expert guidance on relevant legislation, awards, and company policies
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across People, Finance and Retail Operations to ensure seamless service delivery
What You Will Bring:
Proven experience (3+ years) in end-to-end payroll within a complex, high-volume environment
Deep understanding of payroll legislation and awards, especially the General Retail Award
Proficiency in enterprise payroll systems such as Workday, Ento or HR3
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with complex spreadsheets
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A proactive mindset with a passion for accuracy, continuous improvement and teamwork
