**What you'll do
- Lead the development and implementation of a BIG W's Data Governance framework, transforming how BIG W safely derives value from data
- Facilitate product workshops with the business to show how Retail Analytics transformed business questions and data needs into purposeful UX, UI and data visualisations / data connections
- Conduct assessments of data quality, appropriate use of data, data privacy and commercial agreements
- Curate and share metadata which defines and describes our data assets with business users
- Embed data governance and risk management practices across BIG W
- Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance and identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Capture and support the resolution of data issues and data sharing requests
- Use your advanced Google Sites and Confluence skills to develop an innovative and integrated team experience
- Escalate risks, incidents, and breaches to management in a timely manner and support stakeholders with remediation activities
- Lead and develop Data Visualisation and Self-Service Analytics user collateral that include user guides, training material and communications
- Facilitate enablement sessions with our business partners to confidently use and maximise the value of our products
- Work as a valued team member end to end within the Retail Analytics team, working collaboratively and being present in all squad rituals and Retail Analytics forums, ensuring you are deeply across all products, their intent and their development status

**What you'll bring

In addition, you will be:

- Experienced Data Governance or Data Management professional, with a track record of implementing and maintaining data governance frameworks in a large organisation
- Deep understanding and passion for data, analytics and insights and how it can unlock real customer, team and business challenges
