You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's values.
You will play a crucial role in a resident's overall wellbeing.Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care: Assisting with showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.Mobility support: Helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.Monitoring health: Observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behavior.Meal assistance: Supporting residents with dietary requirements and assisting them in eating.Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of care provided and observations.Collaboration with healthcare professionals: Working with nurses, doctors, and other professionals to ensure the best possible care.Skills & ExperienceCert III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalentAdaptable, passionate and willing to learnCollaborative and strong team playerFriendly and effective communication abilitiesReady to ApplyAustralian Working Rights and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) are required.
