**Are you retired/semi retired with experience in the industry?**

**Are you a mowing contractor wanting to get some commercial mowing experience using large zero turn mowers?**

**Are you studying and require some flexible work days?**

We require a local person for casual work 1 day pw on Saturdays to work in our commercial mowing business in the south east suburbs. The hours of work are normally 7+ hours daily with starting times from 6.30.

If you are still at school or going to Tafe or University next year and wanting some flexible work with flexible hours this is the opportunity to learn and work towards the below responsibilities.

In 2026 new work contracts will mean there will be an extra 1-2 days work available for an experienced operator.

**Requirements & Responsibilities**
- Have a Police check and Working With Children Check.
- Have PPE including Hi-Vis work wear and wet weather gear.
- Have knowledge of OH & S and confident filling out required daily paperwork.
- _**Must have some experience using large Zero Turn Mowers**_
- _**Be skilled, quick and competent with a whipper snipper and especially vertical edging**_.
- Be competent with hedge trimming including extended hedgers.
- Be meticulous with your work whilst sometimes working to very tight work schedules.
- Be capable with general mowing, pruning, gardening, grounds maintenance including basic cleanliness and maintenance of all equipment used.

Maybe you have run or are running your own business and don't have enough work all year round. Maybe you have worked in the industry before and now only seek casual work. It is regular and ongoing for the right person with slow periods or time off during the winter season being June to August.

We are a small family business and have been operating in residential and more recently commercial lawn mowing since 1994. We operate through the south east suburbs of Melbourne and based in the Dandenong/Cranbourne area.
