**Job Subject**:
Based in the Tullamarine 3043 area, the site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to global best practice. You will showcase your skills and try to streamline the role as best as possible.

Our client is one of Australia's largest food manufacturers who has been operating and trading for over fifty years, to establish itself as one of the group leader's in the food manufacturing industry.

**About the Role**:
You will be leading the Inventory function onsite. Looking for someone that has been an inventory controller who is dedicated and reliable to join the warehouse team, who effectively manages & reports on the accuracy of inventory. You will monitor inventory in all warehouses and maintain strong process that are updated on a day to day basis. This role will report to the warehouse manager.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure and maintain that the products are easily located
- Audit all inventory processes and systems regularly
- Provide recommendations, support, and solutions for better practice
- Investigate all discrepancies and issues within a pre-determined time frames
- Manage all stocktakes & Daily/Weekly cycle counts
- Investigating & processing Customer/Vendor credits
- Liaise with purchasing department on incoming stock and pricing
- Liaise with Warehouse and Production department about Inventory processes

**Essential**:

- 2+ years experience as an Inventory Controller in FMC
- The ability to work in a fast pace manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong excel skills
- Understanding of the transport/logistics industry
- Effective communication with a good work ethic and friendly personality
