The Inventory Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management on site, delivering high-level stock control support through the efficient execution of receipting, stocktakes, cycle counts, stock adjustments, and credit returns.
This role also manages damaged goods, order verification, out-of-stock and aged stock reporting, loss prevention initiatives, and the optimisation of product location accuracy to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
You will also be responsible to manage a small team and ensure all KPIs are met.
This will be a permanent position (Mon – Fri) and based at Wodonga.
Key Areas:Ensure timely and accurate inventory processes, including stock receipting, cycle counts, stocktakes, adjustments, and returnsPerform root cause analysis of stock discrepancies and implement corrective actionsProvide regular reporting and maintain accurate records using the client's mainframe systemMaintain stock integrity and visibility while minimising product lossDevelop and maintain Linfox procedures during system downtime and audit requirementsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer KPIs are achievedActively contribute to a safe working environment and uphold Linfox's Vision Zero safety cultureAre you the one?

You can demonstrate:Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing or transport environmentsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and experience using RF and warehousing systemsKnowledge of inventory best practices and reconciliation processesProven ability to make informed decisions and work effectively under pressureStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA passion for safety, with a proactive approach to WHSWhat's in it for me?
