Your new opportunity Queensland Treasury's Budget Office is at the heart of delivering the annual State Budget and Mid-Year Fiscal and Economic Review.
As a Senior Treasury Analyst (AO6) in the Expenditure Monitoring Team, you will play a vital role in monitoring and analysing Queensland Government expenditure, developing policy, and supporting the budget process.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Queensland's economic recovery and long-term growth strategy while working in a collaborative and high-performing team.
In this role, you will:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance public sector service delivery and management.
• Support key tasks such as creating and maintaining dashboards, overseeing capital programs, and collecting grants program data.
• Monitor agency staffing levels, approve agency actuals data and cash funding profiles, and prepare various reports.
• Assist in developing policies for reviewing and approving forward estimates adjustments.
• Analyse operating and capital expenditure at the agency level, including trend analysis, growth, and sustainability across the forward estimates and medium term.
• Contribute to the budget cycle through activities such as preparing budget documentation.
• Partner with Treasury and agencies to monitor, report, and recommend improvements in expenditure, capital analysis, and program delivery.

• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
