Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support our client's payroll operations during a transitional period as they move to a fully outsourced payroll processing model. This role requires expertise in CHRIS21 and Timewise systems, along with the ability to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration. The position is temporary, expected to last approximately six months, with flexible working hours and hybrid work.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
Ensure accurate data entry into CHRIS21 and Timewise systems.
Validate employee information and payroll data before submission to Frontier for processing.
Monitor payroll processes to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
Data Management
Maintain up-to-date employee records within CHRIS21 and Timewise.
Perform regular audits of payroll data to identify discrepancies or errors.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues related to employee data or payments.
Outsourced Model Transition Support
Assist in the transition to the outsourced payroll model with Frontier.
Provide administrative support to ensure smooth communication between internal teams and Frontier.
Adapt work flows as required during the transition phase.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to payroll processing.
Generate reports as needed for management review or audit purposes.
General Administrative Duties
Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Support other HR-related administrative tasks as required.
Key Requirements
Proven experience using CHRIS21 and familiarity with Timewise systems is essential.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and payroll processing.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external providers.
Availability to start within the next two weeks.
Work Arrangements
Flexible working hours ranging from 25 - 37.5 hours per week, depending on candidate availability and preferences.
Initial training will take place on site at Light Square, followed by hybrid work practices (50% in-office attendance).
