Harbour View Hotel is looking for a dynamic
**Assistant Venue Manager.** We are searching for someone able to successfully run and manage a shift while assisting the Venue Manager, and has the ability to close the venue working with a fantastic team, in a fun, busy and idyllic location.

**About the role**
- Able to run a shift and supervise staff members
- Ability to close the venue
- Lead a dynamic and motivated team
- To handle all online and phone bookings
- Experience in allocating seating to include multiple sittings
- Ability to assist in designing menus on a seasonal basis
- Exceptional cleanliness control for the restaurant
- Ability to handle enquires for restaurant groups including weddings
- A good knowledge of wines and wine tasting
- A good knowledge of French cuisines
- Ability to assist the chef in food ordering
- Perform all aspects of restaurant service to the highest standard
- Be able to run a busy service and maintain high standards

**About you**
- Excellent presentation and professionalism
- Always in the detail with great communication skills
- Honest and Authentic restaurant and venue management
- Solid understanding of food and beverages
- Positive can-do attitude
- Must be able to work flexible hours consisting of both day and nights
