**Description**:
**Lets talk about you**:
The National Manager, Business Development is a participant of the Aussie Broadbands Leadership
Team and a key member of the leadership function of the Growth division. They play an important role in leading a team of Business Development Managers with the overall responsibility of growing Aussie Broadband's Enterprise & Government customer account base.
**Main responsibilities include**:
- Leading a national sales team, providing guidance and mentorship resulting in the achievement of the organisations sales targets
- Assisting with the development and execution of sales strategies to successfully acquire new enterprise and government customers
- Conducting regular meetings to monitor activities and analyse sales forecasts through effective pipeline/sales cycle management suggesting improvements where it's required to meet performance targets
- Providing reports to senior management on pipeline growth and forecast
- Ensuring sales volume and pipeline coverage is at its maximum
- Collaborate with our enterprise and government marketing team on strategies and tactical initiatives to aid with growth of the market segment.
- Assist with negotiation and the execution of large customer deals.
- Assist with the negotiation of contract terms with customers and communicate terms to relevant stakeholders both internally and externally.
- With the Business Development Managers build relationships with customers, understanding their needs and act as a senior escalation contact
- With the Business Development Managers Identify decision makers within our potential customer organisations and understand effective stakeholder management.
- Maintaining up to date and accurate customer records within our CRM
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends in the market.

**Skills and Experiences**:

The position is offered on a full-time basis. Hours are generally to be worked between 9am and 5pm
Monday to Friday with reasonable overtime as required by the senior level of this position. All

- Strong written and oral communication and consultation skills.
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the telecommunications industry
