**Diploma-Qualified Educator**

Hours: Monday to Friday
(_Hours available depending on attendance numbers_)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children and families.
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to support their social and emotional development.
- Assist with morning routines, including breakfast, transitions and school trasportation for BSC/ ASC children.
- Collaborate with educators and families to create a positive start to the day.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies and procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with families and staff regarding children's needs and attendance.
- Following, understaning and planning the EYLF programming cycle with assistance in observation and follow ups.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a childcare or early learning setting.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage routines efficiently while fostering a calm and nurturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license (For assisting with school transportation).
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Child Protection, Food Safety, SunSmart certification (or willingness to obtain).
