Specialist, Product Management - Digital and Innovation
Overview
Mastercard is a technology company in the global payments business. We connect consumers, financial institutions, merchants, governments and businesses worldwide and enable them to use secure and convenient electronic forms of payment.
Role
Join our product and innovation team focused on digital payments, mobile and e-commerce, Click to Pay - Secure Remote Commerce, token connect. Drive the commercialization of industry standard e-commerce checkout related products and services. You will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and scaling products that will transform the online checkout value proposition for consumers, merchants, payment gateways/acquirers, and issuers.
- Product management in the market, focused on issuing and acceptance enablement across MDES, Token Connect, and Click to Pay.
- Drive go-to-market strategy, focused on strategic scale, delivery, and customer experience.
- Manage issuer and acceptance pipeline/readiness including market announcements and mandates
- Internal presentations including steerco reporting to senior stakeholders, product training and key updates
- External presentations including sales and implementation presentations, proposals, and business case development
- Conduct market research to inform profitability targets for a variety of products
- Create reports on market insights and industry trends
- Work with Technical Program Managers, UX designers, and internal customers to define the details behind the business requirements
- Track and report on the status of portions of project plans
- Partner with the various internal and external stakeholders to understand strategy and agree on financial systems solutions to meet needs.
- Create and review sales presentations, proposals, and internal business case development
It would also be great if:
- Knowledge and experience of working with acquirers, retailers, payment service providers, payment gateways, or e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge and skills using product management tools, (e.g. market and product plans, project timelines, marketing research, pricing, business case development)
- Relevant experience in digital payments, ideally including experience working with Digital Wallets and online guest checkout.
- Technical background (e.g. Computer Science or related field) a plus
- Experience using relevant Microsoft Office programs and ability to create deliverables on a timely basis (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
