Our focus on efficiency means we are constantly optimising our processes to deliver the best results, while our dedication to reliability ensures that our clients can count on us to meet their needs, every time.About the roleThe primary purpose of the MC Driver is to safely and efficiently operate MC trucks and other heavy equipment such as vehicle mounted cranes/forklifts as used by Qube Energy as part of its operations.NOTE: THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL POSITION.
FIFO APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY.Hourly rate: $50.00 p/hAllowances: $550 per week Remote area reimbursement, yearly flight reimbursement, penaltiesSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESEfficient operation of vehiclesConduct pre and post start vehicle checksReport any defects in a timely mannerComplete all necessary associated documentation (such as the preparation and signing of cartage dockets and service requests)Follow appropriate company proceduresInitiate action to prevent the occurrence of deficiencies in the delivery of productUndertake supervision work when directedTake good care of vehicles/plant under your careCompliance with all Main Roads heavy vehicle operating guide linesCompliance with fatigue managementCompliance with loading requirements, axle weights, adhering to vehicle specific permitsCompliance within the NHVL guidelines for Standard, Basic and Advanced Fatigue ManagementCompliance with Chain of Responsibility requirementsManagement of loads including weight requirements, dangerous goods compliance and load restraintProfessional conduct both at Qube, vendors and customer managed facilitiesQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEExperience operating a Side Loader trailerHeavy Combination (HC) Driver licenceHigh Risk Forklift ticket - Highly regardedBasic/Intermediate Rigging ticket – Highly desirableAppropriate licence class for any other vehicles operatedExperience in water and vacuum tankersExperience in driving heavy vehicles and other machinery as used by Qube EnergyKnowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards, Main Road Heavy vehicle legislation and permitting standardsAbility to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolutionAbility to work well within a team environmentWhy QUBE?
