
Senior Records Advisor

The Senior Records Advisor reports to the Manager, Records Management Unit, and provides expert advice and services related to Records Management to RMU staff and SAPOL employees.
This role involves identifying records management issues and developing solutions to ensure SAPOL documents are properly created, stored, retrieved, archived, and destroyed. The Senior Records Advisor offers high-level guidance across SAPOL, supports the Manager in supervising RMU staff, and assists with relevant projects.
The position also includes administrative support, liaising with RMU staff, SAPOL, State Records, and other agencies to manage the storage, archiving, retrieval, and destruction of records efficiently and timely. The role is key in strategic planning for information management within SAPOL.
Special Conditions
- Must hold current Australian work eligibility and pass a criminal history check.
- May be assigned other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- Participation in SAPOL's iEngage program is required.
Salary: ASO6 - $98,478 - $104,165 per annum.
