Production Operator

Our Lysaght business is looking for a **Production Team Member - Rollforming (Day Shift)** at our Archerfield. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

In this hands-on and production-focused role, you'll be part of a dedicated team driving our rollforming operations and production functions. You will play a key part in ensuring steel products are produced, processed, and delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. As part of your development, you'll receive ongoing training and support to master all aspects of rollforming production and warehouse operations, offering clear opportunities for career growth.

**What Will You Do?**

In this dynamic and production-driven role, you will take on key responsibilities within our rollforming and warehouse operations, including:

- assisting with the setting up, adjusting, and operating of machinery for producing steel roofing products
- operating a forklift, gantry cranes and processing machinery
- safely preloading and unloading our products to trucks
- safely packing and straping our steel products on site to create specific orders
- Stock checking activities to identify and communicate discrepancies and quality issues of any stock

In this full time, permanent role your roster will see you working Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm, where you finish the shift pattern on Friday at 6am, allowing you to enjoy a great lifestyle with the night shift hours.

**What Will You Do?**

In this hands-on and varied role where you will learn and be responsible for receiving and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, and dispatch duties, you will also:

- safely load and unloading of trucks and co-ordinate customer pickups
- operate forklifts, magnetic cranes and other machine processing equipment
- pick and pack from stock on-site to create specific orders
- ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels
- be responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers
