Bache Bros Warehouse - Production Operator

**Job Type**: Full Time

Location: The Bache Bros Warehouse, 32-34 Merchant Crescent, Pooraka.

Supervisor/ Manager: Meagan Mercurio, Andrew Sinnott

**1.** **Main Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Manage the pre-packing of produce using the specialised packing equipment to customer specifications
- Maintenance of packing equipment and co-ordination of all repairs and scheduled maintenance
- Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure "fit for use" criteria are met
- Complete equipment production set up and line consumable changes
- Ensure expected packing efficiencies are met
- Complete all daily and weekly maintenance records
- As required work with Senior staff to install new equipment and improve the current plant
- Provide on-site training of staff were required
- Assist with the analysis of workforce utilization, operational data, production schedules and other costs to determine optimum efficiencies
- Maintain an inventory of all consumables and alert management of any ordering requirements
- Assist with all aspects of the packing process, including the hand packing line as required
- Pick all orders, checking quality and labelling as required
- Prepare orders for dispatch as required
- Communicate with staff and transport regarding order pick-up as required
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with Supervisors and co-workers
- All other duties as required and directed by your Supervisor or the Director

**2.** **Quality Assurance**:

- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Attention to detail

**3.** **Workplace Safety**:

- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Ensure all walkways remain unobstructed
- Ensure all facilities are safe and secure at all times
- Follow all company policies and procedures

**4.** **Workplace Interaction**:

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service focus
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Ability to lift heavy objects

**5.** **Requirement**:

- Proven working experience in machine maintenance and warehousing
- Solid understanding of fruit packing machinery
- Understanding of Warehouse principles and customer service practices
- Good organisational and time management

**6.** **Key Performance Indicators**:

- Increase operational efficiency of Bache Bros Warehouse
- Reduction in breakdowns and operational interruptions due to machine set up and running
- Ensure all good are packed to specification and within budgets
- All information correctly collected and communicated daily

**7.** **Salary**
- Annual Salary ???kage - 63000 AUD + 10.5% Super
- Successful applicant may be considered for employer sponsorship.

**Salary**: $63,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- POORAKA, SA 5095: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
