**About this Opportunity**

We are seeking to recruit **a Production Operator **opportunity to rotate between day, afternoon and night shifts) for our site in Clarence Gardens.

This position is responsible for covering different roles at production, as per production requirements and works under general supervision.

We are looking for someone positive, engaging and committed.
- To be considered for this position you will preferably have experience as a Production Operator in the food industry and have a forklift driver's license. Experience in Dairy is considered a plus.

Some of the main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- Basic machine operation
- Basic operation of a box packer and palletiser
- Cleaning of equipment/work area
- Driving the forklift (as required)
- Quality Checks during production times
- set up of equipment
- ordering of stock

At this level, you may need to perform the following tasks or have the following skills:

- operation of mobile equipment including fork-lifts (Active License), hand trolleys and pallet trucks
- knowledge of how production operates
- experience working in a manufacturing / fast paced environment
- Able to make decision and plan ahead
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of GMP

You must have good written and oral communication skills, be self-motivated, have a strong focus on safety, environment and quality and be able to work as part of an effective team.
