We are looking for an experienced** Head of Employment Risk** to join ING Australia in this newly created role. Reporting into the Executive Director HR, you will lead a team to provide strategically aligned commercial initiatives and advice to the business on a wide range of people risk, governance employee relations and health and safety issues.

**What you'll do**
- Define and manage ING's risk and governance profile in relation to people risk (including complex and systemic risk across employee relations, health safety and wellbeing and other nonfinancial risk, in the HR function
- Create and deliver risk capability across the broader HR team with measurable outcomes that support and enable ING to achieve its people and growth objectives.
- Create and deliver of employee relations and HSW strategy and compliance, aligned with ING's people objectives
- Effectively lead project teams (including on an agile and cross-functional basis) to deliver initiatives and streams of work related to ER, people risk, HSW, governance and process improvement
- Design and deliver key ER, safety and risk frameworks, principles and governance documents to drive consistent approaches to employment across ING.

**What you'll bring**
- Expert knowledge of workplace, industrial relations and work health and safety obligations, practice and legislation across Australia;
- Demonstrated leadership capability and experience in leading a high-performing team that is both commercial and outcome-focused, experience with driving and delivering strategic programs of work, with measurable outcomes including execution of cross-functional change.
- Experience building risk capability across employee lifecycles and proven success in non-financial risk mitigation
- Experience with Board reporting and presentation to Executive and Board committees.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (degree in Commerce, Law, HR, or Industrial Relations, Health & Safety or equivalent relevant Post graduate education
