What you'll do
Provide timely expert advice and recommendations within the HSRT, to the HSRT manager, Department senior managers, employees and other stakeholders on a range of complex and sensitive issues relating to health and safety service delivery, policy, legislation and projects to ensure effective outcomes for the Department.
In collaboration with the other Principal Advisor and manager, develop and implement relevant systems, strategies and processes across the Department to integrate the principles and practices of health and safety into business as usual.
Manage the identification, research and analysis to design, develop and implement strategies and projects that enhance health and safety capability across the Department.
Ensure operational plans are delivered on time, to the standard required, meet anticipated outcomes and within budget.
Participate in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health and safety related information systems across the Department that you will utilise to capture and report on a range of qualitative and quantitative measurement and performance data.

High level ability to analyse, plan, and create innovative health, safety and wellbeing initiatives and to implement them within a complex and geographically dispersed organisation.
High level interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation, presentation and client and team relationship management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
