Job Summary
As a skilled
Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
, you will design and implement efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions in C#/DotNet. You will be responsible for debugging and enhancing Unity integration with the server, as well as working with hosting/infrastructure experts to develop and maintain solutions for deploying and updating the solution on AWS cloud deployment.
You will also work with PHP experts to develop API and reporting solutions to support the multiplayer servers. Your knowledge of multiplayer concepts, concurrency, locking, queues, and race conditions is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with C#/DotNet in a relevant multiplayer project, as well as understanding of supporting technologies such as socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
Experience working in a gaming environment, preferably with Unity development, is also required. Additionally, knowledge of cloud hosting and deployment, preferably AWS, is necessary.
A strong understanding of source control (preferable GIT) and JIRA is also required. Knowledge of mySQL, memcached, and redis is preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions in C#/DotNet.
Debug and enhance Unity integration with the server.
Work with hosting/infrastructure experts to develop and maintain solutions for deploying and updating the solution on AWS cloud deployment.
Develop API and reporting solutions to support the multiplayer servers.
Requirements:
Over 2 years of experience working with C#/DotNet in a relevant multiplayer project.
Understanding of supporting technologies, such as socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
Experience working in a gaming environment, preferably with Unity development.
Experience with cloud hosting and deployment, preferably AWS.
Knowledge of source control (preferable GIT), JIRA.
Preferable knowledge of mySQL, memcached, and redis.
Preferred Qualifications:
