Job Title:

Multiplayer Server Programmer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-performance multiplayer gaming server solutions in C#/.NET
  • In collaboration with Unity experts, troubleshoot and enhance Unity integration with the server
  • In collaboration with infrastructure specialists, develop and maintain solutions to deploy and update the servers (mainly AWS cloud deployment)
  • Cooperate with PHP developers in creating API and reporting solutions to support the multiplayer servers
  • Possess knowledge of multiplayer concepts and identify/resolve concurrency, locking, queues, and race conditions
  • Use necessary server technologies to improve efficiency (e.g., caching, queuing, automation)
Requirements:
  • Over 2 years' experience working with C#/.NET in a relevant multiplayer project
  • Understanding of supporting technologies: socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
  • Experience working in a gaming environment; preferable experience developing solutions in Unity
  • Experience with cloud hosting and deployment, preferably AWS
  • Knowledge of source control (preferable GIT), JIRA
  • Preferable knowledge of MySQL, memcached, and Redis
