**About the Organisation**:
Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) is a world-renowned medical research centre dedicated to improving children's health through innovative research. CMRI is supported by a network of community supporters, donors, and successful fundraising campaigns like Jeans for Genes.

**What You Will Do**:
Use your excellent communication and relational approach, planning capabilities, and can-do attitude to engage with community supporters and fundraisers to raise funds for CMRI.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the engagement of relationships with key supporters including DIY fundraisers (Birthdays, weddings etc) to maximise fundraising results
- Support the Community Fundraising Manager in working with Great Cycle Challenge (GCC) Agency to support the engagement of supporters to maximise participation
- Supporting the J4G Campaign Manager, contact appropriate facilities such as councils, train stations and community groups for scheduling and written approval for Jeans for Genes Day fundraising locations
- Manage merchandise and logistics of locations for Jeans for Genes Day, including WHS requirements
- Manage the recruitment, training and scheduling of volunteers for Jeans for Genes Day and other CMRI events
- Provide online and offline fundraiser campaign materials to support community fundraisers
- Working with fundraising team to create proactive tactics to support fundraisers to exceed individual fundraiser targets
- Database management to ensure correct information maintained
- Creation of relevant documentation during and after fundraising event
- Identify fundraiser stories to share across online and offline media channels
- Attend fundraising community events throughout the year
- Inbox management during peak campaign periods when required according to capacity

**Your Skills & Attributes**:

- You can plan and execute projects with high attention to detail
- You're a natural relationship builder with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- You have a track record of setting and meeting objectives or KPIs
- You have experience in managing timelines and project plans
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and CRMs (ideally Salesforce)
- You're a team player with the desire to work in a workplace that accords respect to all
- You have experience in fundraising, customer-service, administration, project management, or even hospitality Experience in volunteer management would also be highly regarded
- A passion and interest in working for a not for profit
