Join our Publisher Services team as a Resolutions Officer

We're looking for a detail-oriented data-driven and customer-focused individual to join our Publisher Services team. This team is responsible for frontline service delivery to APRA and AMCOS publisher members, including managing account queries, resolving counterclaims disputes, and ensuring accurate and timely royalty distributions.

The role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land.

As a Resolutions Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing resolutions cases through both incoming queries and outgoing requests
- Assessing work and agreement records to determine ownership and amend share ownership details
- Reviewing reports and systems near royalty distribution dates and notifying publishers of high earning works in dispute
- Processing adjustments to correct previous APRA payments to publishers
- Participating in training and performing alternate tasks as required

- Well-developed research capabilities and a curious mindset
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of professional customer service
- The ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
- General knowledge of popular music and sufficient mathematical skills
- A love of music and a general knowledge of popular music- An interest in data and systems

Highly regarded but not essential experience:

- Tertiary qualification
- Music industry experience
- Business administration experience in any industry.
