Warehouse Operations Trainee

The role of Warehouse Operations Trainee involves working in a fast-paced environment to gain hands-on experience in inventory management, stock maintenance, and order picking. You will work closely with esteemed host employers to develop valuable skills and knowledge.

As a Warehouse Operations Trainee, you will be responsible for:

  • Unloading goods and products and checking orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Conducting stock maintenance and replenishment, ensuring accurate inventory levels
  • Using heavy machinery such as forklifts to move products safely and efficiently
  • Unpacking, stocktaking, and order picking with precision and attention to detail

In addition to these duties, you will also be responsible for:

  • Developing strong communication skills through regular interactions with colleagues and supervisors
  • Working effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Maintaining a safe and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols

Applicants should possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Be eligible to complete a traineeship and have a genuine interest in warehouse operations
  • Be well-presented, enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual with excellent time management skills
  • Be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects when necessary
  • Hold a valid driver's license and own transport or have reliable transportation arrangements
