Treatment Room Team Leader/ Supervisor/Coordinator

Permanent part-time or full time position available for an experienced Treatment Room Team Leader/Supervisor/Coordinator. You will be joining a nursing team with 2 other fantastic nurses. The shifts may be a mixture of Chronic Care and Treatment room.

Essential skills and experience required:

- Previous experience as a Chronic Care Nurse (essential)
- Previous experience as a practice nurse (essential)
- Previous experience in s supervisor role
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- High levels of organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Experience using Best Practice is highly desirable
- Full Australian work rights

The role would include (but not limited to):

- QI-Activities
- Chronic disease management
- Wound management
- Immunisations
- CMA's
- Assisting GP's in minor procedures
- Triaging patients
- Maintenance of practice equipment and stock
- Ear Syringing
- Iron infusion
- Creating processes and procedures
- Overseeing other Nurses and ensuring they adhere to our policies and procedures
- Rostering
- Ordering Stock
- Training of new nurses

We are looking for a high energy, positive nurse to join our team that is patient focused and shows initiative.

The practice is open every day but you will be rostered between Monday
- Friday 9am-5pm in our Treatment room and Chronic Care Clinic. Flexibility to cover additional annual leave and sick leave will also be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- ST KILDA EAST, VIC 3183: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- General practice: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
