Emergency Veterinary Nursing Role
We are seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join our dynamic team at the emergency centre, providing high-quality care and services to pets in need.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured animals, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Collaborate with veterinarians to deliver medical procedures, surgeries, and treatments, utilizing strong clinical skills and knowledge.
Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications as prescribed, and perform diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring seamless communication with pet owners and veterinarians.
Key Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse, preferably in an emergency or critical care setting.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, including ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach towards both animals and their owners.
