Emergency Veterinary Nursing Role

We are seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join our dynamic team at the emergency centre, providing high-quality care and services to pets in need.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured animals, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians to deliver medical procedures, surgeries, and treatments, utilizing strong clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications as prescribed, and perform diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring seamless communication with pet owners and veterinarians.
Key Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse, preferably in an emergency or critical care setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, including ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach towards both animals and their owners.
