**Job Opportunity: Mobile Plant Machine Operator**

**Location**: Bauxite Hills Mine
**Position Type**: FIFO 15:13, 12-hour shifts.

Our client is looking for experienced **Mobile Plant Machine Operators** to join their team at Bauxite Hills Mine. This role requires the safe and efficient operation of various heavy machinery, including trucks, excavators, front-end loaders, dozers, and graders. Operators will primarily work from enclosed, climate-controlled cabins, but some tasks will involve outdoor, hands-on work. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safe Operation**: Operate assigned mobile plant machinery safely and as directed by supervisors.
- **Pre-Start Checks**: Conduct pre-start checks in line with company policies and procedures.
- **Safety Practices**: Maintain accountability for personal and team safety, including adherence to SWMS, JSAs, Toolbox Talks, and other health and safety requirements.
- **Incident Reporting**: Report incidents promptly, supporting the company's safety culture.
- **Plant Maintenance**: Keep machinery in top condition, handling maintenance tasks such as fueling, hub checks, fluid level monitoring, cleaning, lubrication, and greasing.
- **Communication**: Report unplanned maintenance needs to the team promptly and effectively.
- **Earthmoving Operations**: Perform excavation, backfill, leveling, and other material-moving tasks as directed.
- **Support Tasks**: Assist with physical tasks, which may include use of hand tools (e.g., shovel, pick axe).
- **Policy Adherence**: Ensure compliance with Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs), environmental regulations, and all relevant site legislation.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **HR License**: Valid HR license with the capability to work toward an MC license.
- **RII Certifications**: Level 2 RII qualifications in Loader, Excavator, Grader, Articulated Haul Truck, or Dozer.
- **First Aid**: Current first aid certification.
- **Mathematics & English**: Basic proficiency.
- **Safety Awareness**: Strong environmental awareness and safe work practices.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work within and contribute to a diverse team environment.
- **Organizational Skills**: Able to organize tasks and meet deadlines.
- **Cultural Sensitivity**: Awareness and respect for diversity and equity in the workplace.
