Job Title: Transfer Station Operator

Our organization is seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual to operate onsite plant and equipment, direct traffic, and provide exceptional customer service at the Willawong Transfer Station in Queensland.

  • Operate yellow machinery and other equipment as required
  • Direct traffic within the transfer station and provide information to customers
  • Complete records and paperwork accurately
  • Meet targets for recycling and diversion of waste from landfill
  • Assist with general labouring duties and administrative tasks

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous knowledge or operation of yellow machinery
  • Dozer, Loader and Forklift tickets
  • MC Heavy Vehicle Licence preferred, HC minimum required
  • Excellent communication and professional manner
  • Strong work ethic and attitude

Our team offers a positive environment, good conditions, uniforms, and PPE. Prior experience in the Waste industry or Heavy Manufacturing industry is an advantage.
